Project 4

So my group decided to use the Morgantown Boys' and Girls' Club for out project. I don't really know all that much about it, but I guess that the space they have to work with is really small and run-down. I guess it's also in an awkward location. I'm not sure whether we're just proposing to clean it up, or if we're suggesting that they move to a bigger, more centrally located place, or what. So I really can't say that much about the direction for this project, other than the fact that we have one... The details aren't very clear to me, but I'm sure we're going to work on that.

Oops!

Ok, so my 10th blog post is a little late. I swear I did one on Tursday, but I guess not.

So I had a meet at Robert Morris today, and it was all of like 35 degrees. I couldn't feel my limbs - it was awful! So I high jumped very, very badly and then my coach didn't make me triple because it was so cold. So I got to come home instead. Yay! Then I came home and took a nap and ate and got a shower. Very exciting.

Finally...

YAY!!!!! I'm pretty much done with my site Re-Vision. Except for my site map and maybe some touch ups and one more blog entry. This is probably one of the better feelings I've had all week. This project was a severe pain - I suck at html coding and if I never do it again it'll be fine by me.

And in case anyone cares, I don't like Kroger. I should always go to Giant Eagle, even though it's slightly more inconvenient. That's my thought for the day.

Back at school...

Well it's Tuesday and I am unfortunately back into classes and practices and such.

Easter weekend was really nice, even though I didn't get enough sleep. Coach cancelled practice Friday, so I left Morgantown to go home around noon. I went out to dinner with my parents and hung out with my friends.

Saturday I had traditional family brunch and then I dyed Easter eggs. Then I went over to my boyfriend's house and had dinner. Then I hung out with the girls.

Sunday I got my Easter basket and went to church. Then we had lunch at my Grandma's with my whole family. We stayed there for awhile. Then I went and saw Meet the Robinson's, which was really not as funny as I had hoped. It was more of a little kid's movie, but it was still cute.

Note: Easter is my very favorite holiday and I had a fantastic one.

Then I came back to Morgantown Monday morning. I stopped at the Grove City outlets on my back and bought some clothes at Gap because they were having good sales. Then I had practice & lifting (SO SORE!). Then I had to come home and finish my 10 page Sports Finance paper, do my part of the group project, and do my individual presentation. Well, thank goodness that I got an email telling me that my Poli Sci class was cancelled for today, so I can do my individual presentation then. I went to bed at 1 but was SO tired.

I got up at 6:40 to make it to my 7 A.M. class even though I did not want to go at all. But I dragged myselft there because we only have one more class after today. But it was only an hour long and he talked about a lot of the same things he did last week, so it was kind of a waste of time. Then I went back and took my Tuesday morning nap and now I'm here. My project is kind of coming along but I feel like I still have a lot of stuff to do and that I may run into some technical issues becasue I'm not very good at this html stuff.

Dear Snow...

Dear Snow,
I would really appreciate it if you would leave so that the 80 degree weather could come back. I would really appreciate it. Today to go to class I had to bundle up in a sweater, jeans, a winter jacket, a scarf, and mittens. And then I had to hold up my hand to my face to block the snow that was blowing around in the wind. My hair was covered when I got to class - very sad. You did not really effect the rest of my day, but still I think you understand that warm weather would be much preferred at this point in the year. Oh, and this weekend I would like to wear a dress and open toed shoes, which I can't really do if there's snow. So I hope you understand my request and I'll be happy to see you again next Christmas. Thank you very much.

Love,
Erica

a little ditty...

It's the middle, it's the Wednesday, it's the halfway through the week.
Another day to laugh and play, HEY! It's Wednesday!

Monday, Monday

So it's a short week! Even though all weeks are short for me because I only have class 3 days a week. But still, I'll act excited.

I did work this morning and watched my normal daytime television rotation (Price is Right, What Not to Wear, 10 Years Younger). Really, I'm pretty sure that I'm an 85 year old woman trapped in the body of a 21 year old.

Then I had track practice. I jumped pretty well today and found out that I'm going to a meet in Marietta, Ohio this Friday. I was excited about this, until I realized that it is supposed to SNOW this Friday. I'm pretty sure that I will not be going if it snows. Then I had to lift, which was just super.

Then I came home and hung out with my roommates for a while and now I'm trying to be productive and get work done. So that's why I'm posting this... and now I'm done!

Sunday...

So it's Sunday and technically the end of Spring Break. Even though I feel like I haven't been on Spring Break since like Wednesday and I actually don't even have class tomorrow.

I feel like I have a ton of work to do in the next two weeks, and yet I have little to no motivation to do it. Although it is a Sunday morning and I've already starting attempting to do work, which I think I should get major bonus points for.

I don't really get the whole blogging thing. Maybe it's because I never really kept a diary. But I don't think that anyone really cares to read this and I'm only writing it because I'm supposed to. But oh well, only another 6 posts to bore the world with.

I did start the Play Money book for class and it baffles me. Maybe it's because I'm not into video games but that seems like a ridiculous amount of money to be spent on video games. But I guess I spend a ridiculous amount of money on shoes, where I could wear the same pair every day if I had to. To each his own, I suppose...
